Give your smile its shine back in Marbella
Professional whitening in clinic, at home, or combining both, always under the dentist's supervision.
Do you need teeth whitening?
Generic products sold without supervision aren't adjusted to each patient's case: that can give an uneven result or irritate the gums. Whitening is a process that should be done under a dentist's supervision, either in the clinic or with products the dentist prescribes for home use.
In-clinic whitening
We protect the gums and lips, apply the whitening gel and activate it with LED light. In a session of around 90 minutes you can gain several shades. The effect keeps working for up to 24 hours afterwards, so the final result isn't fully visible until a day later.
At-home whitening
With trays custom-made for you (so the gums aren't damaged) and a carbamide peroxide gel, 1 to 3 hours a day for 3 to 10 days is usually enough, depending on the gel prescribed. Always supervised by the dentist, and always starting from healthy gums.
If there is active decay, it is treated first: whitening over a decayed tooth can cause pulpitis (inflammation of the nerve).

How we do whitening at our Marbella clinic
Before whitening we check gums and decay: it's the step many places skip, and the one that stops the treatment ending in irritation instead of a better smile.
We offer both approaches, in-clinic and at-home with a custom tray, and help you choose based on what you're after: an immediate result or a more gradual change.
- Gum and decay check before any session.
- In-clinic whitening with LED light, result in one session.
- Custom-made trays for at-home treatment.
- Sensitivity control throughout the process.

In clinic, at home with custom trays, or combining both depending on the goal and the timeframe.

Frequently asked questions about this treatment
01 How long does the whitening effect last?
It depends on your habits: coffee, red wine and tobacco shorten it. With care, the effect usually lasts one to two years before needing a touch-up.
02 Does whitening damage the enamel?
Done under professional supervision, no. The risk comes from unadjusted generic products used without checking gum health first.
03 Is sensitivity afterwards normal?
Mild, temporary sensitivity can appear in the first few days, manageable with the guidance we give you. That's why the process is supervised in clinic.
04 In-clinic or at-home: which is better?
It depends on the goal and the timeframe. In-clinic is faster; at-home is more gradual. Many patients combine both for the best result.
